The Lord answered my prayers when He directed me to Pathways Christian Counseling.  In a supportive environment of warmth and acceptance, I have been brought from debilatating depression into hope and wholeness. When I first came to Pathways, I was very doubtful that I would be helped. I figured that if I showed up, they would see how bad I am, and send me to a clinic. That’s what I wanted.  But, God had other intentions.  Even after the first few sessions, I still didn’t think there was any hope for my counselor. I felt too far gone for help.  But, slowly, very slowly, things started to click and make sense.

Well, a year and 4 months later, God has turned my world upside down and inside out.  God really blessed my counselor with wisdom.  I usually pray on my way to a session that God would show her what direction to go in for that particular day. God has given her a sense of understanding and waiting for God to move, so that He gets the glory.  God is setting me free and showing me things about myself and my life. I am realizing that I have a reason to live. God wants to use me.
